The annexe at South View Farm is a self-contained cottage sleeping two, with en suite shower room and sitting area with a wood burning stove. It overlooks the gardens and valley, and has its own private terrace. It is situated on the edge of a hill at the western end of Ampleforth village.
It is in the North York Moors National Park ( www.northyorkmoors.org.uk) and has lovely views over the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ( http/www.howardianhills.org.uk/ ). It is a great base to explore the moors and Ryedale http://www.visitryedale.co.uk/
There are excellent walks and cycle rides from the door. In the village we have two delightful pubs. If you want to stay in and watch DVDs I can bring supper to your room in front of the wood burning stove. Perfect for a romantic break and a complete rest.
